Today in class, we learned how to do a Vaporwave! No one in the class heard of it except for like one person. Professor told us that it was basically a lot of retro colors put together with different images. The process was pretty easy, the only problem that I had was forgetting to click the return key after I pasted an image.

I had no clue what images to put but after a while I started gathering some that went well together. The sun, moon, and stars go together really well. I changed up the colors as well.

I found a picture of this dolphin an thought it was cute, and like professor said, every Vaporwave needs palm trees! 🙂

I plan on making another one and messing around with the colors even more. This was a really fun task and I enjoyed doing it.

It’s really amazing how you can learn something new everyday. Vaporwaves would be perfect for people who are really creative. It’s cool to see everyones unique piece.

GIF in Motion of ME

I FINALLY got it. It took me so long to do this GIF in motion by scratch without Professor. Seslow’s help. I think the hardest part is the final step, which is the timeline part. I was so confused on how to get all of the images to play all together but I eventually figured it out! 🙂

The steps were really easy because I used the link provided as a guide. I didn’t really change the color of my picture, I basically just messed around in “Filter Gallery,” instead of adjusting the Hue/Saturation.

I also added a little glow from the filter gallery.

Overall, this process was really fun and I was happy that I had a chance to do a motion gif with a picture of myself!

WEBSITE IN PROGRESS

Today, I worked on my website. I installed a plugin that would make me be able to change the font on my website…

Im trying to find a plugin that would allow me to change the color as well, that would be great. I went for a script font which looks really fancy.

I also uploaded a picture of myself as my Site Icon.

Halfway done!

The semester is almost over! The level of excitement is real. I always thought that fall semester goes by way faster than the spring, maybe because we have more days off for fall semester. It’s been very hectic with all of these tests. I feel like going crazy having to study for so many classes.

I have one last midterm next week and that’s about it. This semester has been somewhat of a tough one for me because my classes are getting more difficult so I’m just really happy its almost OVER.

Playing around with Panorama

Today in class, we learned how to do a panorama

I always knew about this feature on my phone but never really used it. This feature is amazing, you can basically duplicate yourself in one photo, and even add others in it. My classmate, Olivia and I, did one together. She decided to play her guitar first, and then play it for me. In this photo, it shows Olivia playing the guitar for me, as I sit there and enjoy. This was a fun experience and I can’t wait to learn much more!

My very first GIF in Motion

Today in class we learned how to create a GIF in motion! When I was browsing through the website, I saw different ones and thought they looked great. I honestly thought it was going to be really difficult to create one but Prof. Seslow walked us through it just fine. It was many steps but the outcome looks great. If I tried to do this all over on my own I probably wouldn’t know how to do it, it takes a lot of practice.

I chose Adele because I think she’s a phenomenal artist. Her voice is beautiful, and her songs are as well. This was truly a fun experience and I’m glad I learned something new today!

What makes me HAPPY on the Internet

Recently, a video went viral on the internet. I was scrolling through Instagram, and I noticed that my favorite artist, Chris Brown reposted the video. The video was a little 2-year-old boy named Roman who was diagnosed with Spina Bifida. He was so excited to show his dog, Maggie that he was walking. He shouted, “look Maggie, I walking Maggie!” with excitement all over his face. This video touched me and many others. It touched me personally because I have a disability that causes me to not be able to walk. Just seeing him happy, made me happy. Being that the video went viral, his mom decided to create a youtube channel: Defying Odds: Roman’s Journey, to keep us updated on his journey.

Making my own WEBSITE

I missed class last week, so I got to class this morning a little earlier thinking the process of making a website would be difficult and a lot of work…

I WAS WRONG

The process was extremely easy. Professor.Seslow provided us with a website to set up our domain name. Registering a domain name wasn’t difficult for me at all because I just stuck with my first name and a part of my last name “brittanyjag”, boring, I know.

I wanted to be creative but you also have to check the availability. After that, he helped me along with Selena. I then searched for a background picture and chose a New York City theme.

I really like the picture I chose
